Public Enemy created songs that made people socially conscious and think deeply. Every song contained a message, so no one can accuse them of providing fluff. Tupac Shakur’s ‘California Love’ contained poetic rap music. I was a big hit on the rap music charts and is still a regular on mainstream radio stations. Beastie Boys ‘Fight for your right’ is one of the best songs created by this group and managed to score high in the rap music charts. The Beastie Boys is one among the few of the white rap groups who gained long-term respect from the industry. Rap music charts although controversial at times have created a niche for themselves.
